St Patrick’s Day activities for couples
Check out these fun and creative St Patrick’s Day activities for couples! Whether it’s making leprechaun popcorn, speaking with an Irish accent or playing some Ireland-inspired games, you’ll find something here to mark the 17th of March!
Using holiday inspiration for date night (or date day!) creates a ready-made theme that adds to the fun and novelty of the occasion – two factors which turn a good date night great.
I’m personally in favor of celebrating every holiday I can. But one that’s super fun would have to be St. Patrick’s Day, the national day for the Irish.
That there are 70 million of us around the world who have ancestry going back to the Emerald Isle should be reason enough to mark the 17th of March on our calendars.
But that aside, who can resist Irish food, Irish accents and the luck of the leprechaun?
However in all seriousness, if you’re wondering what activities you can do on St Patrick’s Day that aren’t simply resorting to a few pints of Guinness down at your local pub or a whiskey binge, here’s plenty of ideas for a St. Patrick’s date.
From games, to movies, to snacks and just all round crazy suggestions, you’ll find some “grand” St Patrick’s Day activities for couples that will make this day a fun celebration – alcohol optional.

This game works best when you have a prize riding on the outcome. I suggest something Irish themed like St Patrick’s Day novelties.
Place a container (bonus points if you use a leprechaun hat) on the ground at an agreed upon distance from where you are both sitting or standing.
Take turns throwing chocolate gold coins into the hat.

Playing these games will make you rather hungry, so consider having some St Patrick’s Day snacks to munch on while you play.
Alternatively make the actual creation of these snacks, or these St. Patrick’s Day cookies or St. Patrick’s Day treats part of your St Patrick’s Day date.
