Do you know everything about your husband?

We can spend 24 hours a day with someone, but if we don’t ask the right questions much of our conversation stays on the superficial level.

In the ten plus years I’ve been with my husband you would think we would know everything and anything about each other.

However as recently as last week, I learnt that when he was only 9 or 10 years old, his father (who was an avid runner) entered him into a half marathon.

He managed to run for about 14 kilometers before he hit the wall – an incredible achievement for a little boy.

This segued into him telling me about his other early running pursuits that I had known nothing about.

Getting this extra glimpse into the life of the man I love so much was awesome.

And it was all because of a random question.

Think about that, and think about the kind of married couple questions you USUALLY ask your husband.

How was your day?

What time will you be home?

Can you pick up some kumquats from Whole Foods?

Yes they’re important, but are they adding any depth to your relationship?

In fact small talk can be a real relationship downbuzz

Therefore it’s great to have a ready bank of fun couple’s questions for a variety of situations – a road trip, chilling on the couch, while having either a free or at home date – questions that are not only fun to ask and answer, but that also help you learn more about your special someone.

No showers for a week or no sex for a year?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA AHHH.......

You're not thinking like a man. A man would probably rather go without showers for a whole year sooner than go without sex for an entire week. Are you crazy?

Well, the idea is to get couples talking and it seemed to get you thinking enough to reply! But I have to say if you picked no showers for a year I doubt anyone would be wanting to get that close so you'd lose on both counts!
