Wanting to make a creative dessert or an easy dessert board that is perfect for your next party or date night at home?
A s’mores board is a super simple summer dessert that makes even the most challenged in the kitchen look like a rock star.
That’s right – no culinary talent required with this one – just the ability to arrange pockets of deliciousness on a board or tray which will results in a customized s’mores experience every s’mores lover will enjoy.
This recipe will yield 12 servings so enough for up to 6 people – depending on your appetite of course. My husband could make short work of this with just me to keep him company – but he does have a super sweet tooth!

S’mores board ingredients

- 1 box of graham crackers – you won’t place them all on the board, just keep them handy to add more when they run out.
- 1 jar of peanut butter
- 1 jar of Nutella
- 6 large strawberries
- 1 bag of large marshmallows
- 1 Lindt milk chocolate bar
- 4 Reese’s peanut butter cups
- 4 peppermint patties
- 2 Hershey’s cookies and cream bars
- 4 Lindt white chocolate truffles
- 3 Hershey’s chocolate bars
- 1 Ghirardelli sea salt caramel chocolate bar
Method
Pick a board to create your s’mores charcuterie board. You can use whatever you want to display your ingredients, just make sure you pick something big enough to hold everything. (You could also go for parchment paper, large plates, whatever you have).
Place your bowls of peanut butter and Nutella on the board first. Since these items are a bit bigger, you want to work around them. Keep in mind you can move stuff as you work – there is no wrong way to build this board.

Sporadically place graham crackers in stacks around the board. It will look nice if you have stuff spread out and not all in one area. This also makes it easier for people working around the board.

You will then want to start placing the large chocolate sheets, followed by individual chocolates.
For this recipe, I placed one an entire Lindt milk chocolate candy bar on the board, stacked two Hershey’s cookies and cream bars and split the other milk chocolate bars in half.

Next you will fill in the blank areas with smaller chocolates like Reese’s, Peppermint Patties, truffles, and your strawberries and marshmallows.

Finally, look at your s’mores board for empty spots and try and fill them in (for presentation) with smaller chocolates. You can stack things, but not too high unless you are feeding a lot of people.

Now serve next to your outdoor fire, stand back, and let everyone assemble their own delicious s’mores.
Before you know it, the air will be filled with the sweet smell of toasted marshmallow and melted chocolate.
